This is my morning so far.
5:00am *Plop* Peppy climbs up on the bed and crawls all over my back, sniffing at my neck. Me: No. Go away. Sleepy Peppy: *lick* Me: Go 'way! Peppy: *whines and sticks nose against my ear* Me: Get! *pushes Peppy off bed*.
Me five minutes later: Dangit. Now I can't sleep! Me at 7:30: I think I'll try to lay down again. Peppy comes into the room, scratching on the mattress. Me: You climbed up here earlier. I'm not picking you up now. Scat! Now, don't whine...stop that. *sighs* Okay, get up here.
Needless to say, I didn't get anymore sleep *L*

I don't know WHY this surprises you. Women do not like to be ignored. ;D

A man would be foolish indeed to ignore a woman ... and still expect his supper.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ... fresh coffee, day just got better. I'm a little sore today. Hot out yesterday and I cut grass till dark. The dry weather has been holding it back. Some has turned completely brown, but patches still needed mowing.
Hope all y'all are well and happy ... an' coooooooooool !

It has been pretty bad today hasn't it. And here (at least in my area) dinner is lunch and supper is supper. I think it's different around Atlanta. But, they're weird up there.

Only problem I had with Atlanta was the airport. Every time I landed, departure was in two minutes ... on the other side of the place ! ! !

*LOL* That had to suck.
Today is Evans County Day here so I'm getting ready to go to town for the celebration around noon. It's probably just going to be a proclamation reading, a speaker or two, and cake. That's how it's been the last two years. This is all in preparation for August 11, 2014 which is the 100 year anniversary.

Morning Jacqueline;
I have around 300 poems, three or four dozen short stories and the collaborative novella that going up at my site as a serial (79 chapters, I'm putting up a few at a time to try and get some interest generated).
I don't have any thing as substantial as Allen though. I'm really enjoying his work.

300 poems is amazing. Have you tried to get them published yet?

300 poems is definitely amazing. That's way more than I've written over the years.

I like childrens poems. I might like to do a book of those sometime.
An awesome lady (psycho) ((Barbara)), from another site and I have done a few strings of limericks too. We did a run of 'm0nkey' limericks that garnered the site over 10,000 hits on that one thread alone. M0nkey is a character I let out of the cage occasionally. He's a little crusty.

*chuckles* I would love to hear some of them.
Have you taken any steps towards getting any of your work published?
