This is Allen's Post!
I'm not much of an artist, but recently I've been working on doing some stuff in MS Paint after watching a person speed draw cartoon animals on YouTube. Here's my favorite so far. Okay, I tried the image thing but couldn't get it to show, so here's the link to the pic: BeagleAttachments:

Yes. LOL
I think it's really cool how you have figured out how to do this. I would love to hear how this process works for you since you struggle with pens. I think it could be very encouraging to others who also struggle with this for one reason or another.

This is Allen's Post!
Well, I learned how to draw cartoon animals on MS Paint via YouTube. I've been practicing with it for about three weeks now I guess and have done a couple dogs and the cat. It's really not that hard - most of the "drawing' is just using their oval shape thing in the toolbar on the left of Paint. For instance, with the dog it's one circle for the face, a sort of oval shape for the muzzle, two large circles for eyes (with two smaller ones for pupils), a large circle for the nose and then an oval shape for the body. For the arms you just use their line tools - one that you can manipulate and the other for just a straight line.
ETA: I forgot something. I used the same line manipulation tool for the ears. I recently tried doing a person, but I'm not really satisfied with it.

Well I think you are doing great so far! You've only started and I know how persistant you are. LOL Seriously though, I am happy to see that there are tools people can use who have issues with mobility or strength. I know that these programs can really help them. I'm on board for anything that makes art accessable to more people! *Hugs* Thank you again for sharing hon.

My problem with art stems from the fact that I can't draw a circle to save my soul *L*. Squares and cubes I'm good at; triangles and lines, too. But, circles drive me batty. This is a problem, for me, because I heard once - and I firmly believe it - that if you can draw a circle you can draw anything.

You are seriously impressing me with what you are accomplishing with this paint program you have!
I'm about to pull my hair out tonight trying to get the shading of some tropical flowers right on a commissioned sign.

This is Allen's Post! Here's a new piece. I copied a guy at YouTube who drew Darth Vader just for the fun of it to see if I could do it.

Above, Allen said "Im not much of an artist..." From now on...Maestro Allen----you are to say "I am an artist...blah blah...!" Got it? (smile!!) Your work is wonderful...and you have tons of talent! And now that we have the Pappa Cat and the Momma Cat...lets see what the baby cat-cats will look like---OK Allen? Cant wait!
(And Allen, did you have a chance to read my short book? I would LOVE to see how you would apply what I said in the book to the magnificent stuff you are doing with MS Paint!
Go for it.
