Anybody get up early here? I like early. It's ME time. I can tinker in the basement, play on the 'puter, write a little or catch up on the news. I would certainly NOT want a day to go by that I wasn't up on the latest trials and tribulations of Lindsy Lohan.

This is Allen's post!
Hey fp,
I'm sometimes an early riser. It all depends on what time I go to bed at night (I really have no set schedule, although I'm usually off the comp by 10 or 10:30 and getting ready for bed). I tend to do the same things as you when I get up, except for the basement thing (we don't have one here).
This morning I have to finish up a newsletter I'm writing. It shouldn't take too long at all if I can just force myself to work.

LOL yeah I need the Lohan fix too. NOT! LOL
I'm usually an early riser. This week I've been having asthma issues so my sleep is alllllll messed up. I'm better today though.
Today I had a Ta Da list to complete. I'll let y'all know how I do.

Everyone's busy, busy. Don't let that opressive heat get to ya! It's Friday, I hope that means a couple days off for most of you. I work a rotational schedule, so I'm on duty tomorrow. Get out with the family and enjoy your weekend!

Hope every one has a good family day today. Hug them babies, they'll be grown and gone before you know it.

It's been very dry here too, fp. We finally got a good rain last night, though, and it's supposed to rain all week. I hope so.

Today's been a very good day. I got up, got some things done that needed to get done, and spent the evening working on a puzzle.

Today was an excellent day for me! I made some money, sat down and figured out a problem that has been keeping me from marketing one of my products (Yay me! ) and then came home and got my computer back online after a bad storm. ;D I'm a pretty happy lil camper.

Yesterday, even though it's late in the season, I tilled up a little patch in the 'old' garden. I planted summer squash, butternut squash and canteloupe. The summer squash has plenty of time if we get a little rain. The butternut squash will make it if the frost holds off, the canteloupe? .... Well I can hope ...right?
Today, I'll be traveling. Have to go preview a new CAD (computer aided dispatch) package for the office. I'll enjoy a day out of the office.
Hope somthin' reeeeeeal nice happens to each of you today!

This is TOTALLY Allen's post!
Man, it's been a looooooooooong day. Got up this morning and went to get my haircut and beard trimmed in town, then went to the library to get an obituary for my family research. Got back home, spent an hour here - maybe - and then went to Statesboro with my mother and a friend of hers to do some things before my Sons of Confederate Veterans meeting at 6:00. I just got home about 15 minutes ago. I be tired.

Allen, so sorry to hear you had such a long hard day yesterday. *Hugs* Today has been long for me. My friend went out on her deck this morning and it collapsed with her. She fell about 25 feet and they think she has a broken hip. I worked for her at the flower shop today and I'll be working for her again tomorrow. Y'all please pray for her.

Thanks. She is in the hospital. Broken femur and a dislocated hip. They are still trying to decide if they are going to put a pin in or try to set it. I feel so sorry for her. She's such a good friend to me and I just love her to pieces.
